This project, carried out in collaboration with Aloka Design Studio, focused on reimagining a co-working space to meet the increasing needs of its users.
The client sought to create an environment that offered greater privacy while maintaining a sense of cohesion with the existing setting. The new intervention needed to feel engaging and distinctive, yet seamlessly integrated—enhancing the space without appearing overly new or disconnected from its original character.
In a space where everyone craved privacy and comfort, diverse seating options like ottomans, regular tables, and high tables were strategically placed.
This created a dynamic environment where contrasting heights formed visual barriers, seamlessly hosting different crowds.
Amidst the lockers, a concealed phone booth became a secret haven, adding a touch of intrigue to the setting.

Design Development & Process
The challenge was to integrate additional areas seamlessly while the space remained operational. The project required careful planning and execution to ensure minimal disruption to existing users, all within a tight time frame.
The area was formerly a cabin, inspiring the use of flexible furniture in the transitional space, adding color and adaptability.
Given its location between multiple cabins, it was essential to provide a solution for taking phone calls outside the cabins without disturbing those inside.
Thus, a versatile piece of furniture was designed to bridge this gap, offering a functional and aesthetic addition to the co-working environment. This thoughtful approach ensured both practicality and comfort for the users.
The handrest was intentionally angled to position the screen perpendicular to the eyes, reducing strain.
It was also designed to be wide enough to support a laptop screen. This ergonomic feature helps users maintain better posture, even during brief meetings.
