I was first introduced to moodboarding when I joined a design firm in 2021. Until then, I relied on mental visualizations, but I soon realized the importance of communicating those ideas clearly to clients. Moodboards became a powerful tool—not just for presenting concepts, but for capturing the pulse of a project. Even today, moodboarding remains my first step in every project—my way of setting the tone and building visual harmony from the start.

A series of moodboards I created to explore with Aloka Design Studio between 2021 -2023.

A series of moodboards I created to explore and synthesize the visual elements of different cultures. This process helped me identify recurring motifs, color palettes, and material sensibilities, while also teaching me how culture deeply shapes design language.

It became a tool not just for visualization, but for learning to translate intangible identities into cohesive design directions.
