TVH Office Lobby

Imagine standing in your office lobby, looking up—only to be met with a plain, uninspiring ceiling. This project, in collaboration with Studio Neon Attic and their client TVH, set out to transform that very experience by reimagining the IT Park located just outside bustling Chennai.
A minimal, neutral palette was applied to the triple-height lobby, making it the true focal point of the space. I was involved end-to-end—from conceptualization and vendor coordination to project management and execution—delivering the ₹5 crore project within just 3 months.
Complementing the neutral colour palette and the rigid box like space- the challenge was to break the monotony.
The mobieus scultuptre - which showed both rigidity and seriousness yet playful was the inspiration. The firms' founders, Sripriya and Rambha, who previously collaborated with the founder of the brand Sagarika, Rock Paper and Scissor, known for creating captivating art installations with Liquid Ply, were instrumental in this project.
Making the client agree easily and also making the idea feasible. the idea of suspending these installations as art pieces was proposed.

Design Development
Construction sites and wood workshops generate massive quantities of waste and scrap wood and plywood. These small pieces of wood and plywood waste were glued together and then turned on the lathe to produce objects with sinuous patterns. This is Liquid Ply.
As part of the team, I wanted to show that striking art installations could emerge from waste materials—perfectly echoing the client’s ethos of sustainability.
Various-sized modules were repeated to create a long, twisted ribbon effect.
Additionally, rotating the same model on a different axis replicated this pattern, visually balancing the overall design.
