A minimal, neutral palette was applied to the existing triple-height lobby.
I was involved end-to-end, from conceptualization and vendor coordination to project management and executionfor a budget of ₹5 crore project within a span of 3 months.

CONCEPT & DIRECTION

The firms' founders, Sripriya and Rambha, who previously collaborated with the founder of the brand Sagarika, Rock Paper and Scissor, known for creating captivating art installations with Liquid Ply, were instrumental in this project.
The idea of suspending these installations as a ceiling mural was proposed.
Construction sites and wood workshops generate massive quantities of waste and scrap wood and plywood. These small pieces of wood and plywood waste were glued together and then turned on the lathe to produce objects with sinuous patterns. This is Liquid Ply.This complimented very well with the other materials that were used for the lobby.

Complementing the neutral colour palette and the rigid box like space- the challenge was to break the monotony.
The mobieus scultuptre - which showed both rigidity and seriousness yet playful was the inspiration

This project was in collaboration with Studio Neon Attic and their client TVH, to renovate one of their Office Lobby in an IT park in Chennai. Afternearly a decade of its construction, they wanted to upgrade their interiors.
